SHOW TIME !! "ROCK YOUR BODY "16TH APRIL

SHOW TIME !!! 16TH APRIL 2011 "ROCK YOUR BODY" NOTTINGHAM ROYAL CONCERT HALL ,NOTTINGHAM.

DANCEDIVAZ are performing at the Nottingham concert hall this April.Everyone is so excited and rehearsals are taking place every week .The Show brings all my dance classes together for one BIG event ! Bestwood ,Ilkeston and Sutton - in - Ashfield.Children from the age of 3yrs up to Adults ,singing and dancing the night away for you !!
Tickets are on Sale from this Monday 24th Jan from the Theatre Box office - £12.50 each.

This Blog will now be up to date every week giving all rehearsal times and costume fittings.

UPDATE NEW TIMES FOR STREET/BREAKDANCE CLASSES

All pupils taking part in the Streetdance/Breakdance classes that commence on Wednesday 29th September must arrive no more than 10 minutes before the class is due to start. Pupils will need to wear trainers or dance shoes, joggers or tracksuit bottoms. For the time being I have decided to join the 2 styles together into 1 class, therefore the class times will change as below:

STREETDANCE/BREAKDANCE - 6YRS TO 10YEARS - 6.15PM TILL 7.05PM - £3.50

STREETDANCE/BREAKDANCE - 11YRS TO 17YRS - 7.10PM TILL 8PM - £3.50

All pupils must be left and then collected, parents are welcome to stay in the foyer if they wish.

NEW !!! STREETDANCE/BREAKDANCE CLASSES !!

I have made an exciting decision to take the dancing school one step further and introduce new "Streetdance and Breakdance classes under the Dancedivaz brand. All classes will take place at Ebenezer Church Hall ,Heanor Road Ilkeston from Wednesday 29th September.I have employed a male street dance teacher who is an amazing dance teacher and has a great passion for teaching and performing .I plan on introducing these classes to my Bestwood pupils as soon as possible.I will keep you all updated once the classes have started. Just back from sunny Devon ,all the family had a great time and it was lovely to spend time with my mum ,dad and my sisters family.
Its been a great summer for DANCEDIVAZ ,Lots of shows and plenty of dancing for FUN !!

Ilkeston Carnival - A fantastic day

GEDLING GALA !! BESTWOOD DIVAZ 3RD JULY

Hi all Divaz that are dancing at the Gedling Gala this Saturday 3rd July .The event will start at 2pm , we will perform on the grassed arena at 3.25pm. Make sure you are there no later then 3pm because the event is busy and you may not be able to park close by .

This is our second event of the year for the Bestwood Divaz and bookings are already coming in for next year !! great news !
